Are your products handmade?

All of our ceramic pieces are hand thrown in our St. Augustine studio. As with anything handmade, slight variations in size, shape, color and glaze consistency will occur.

Are your products dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes, all of our products are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. Though our ceramics are dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to keep the pieces in the best condition possible. If you prefer to wash these products in the dishwasher, please use nonabrasive detergents. 

For microwave use, the same precautions are taken as when using an oven, always remove pieces with care, as they will be hot and will remain hot for a while. To avoid temperature shock, gradual heating and cooling is recommended. (do not place cold or freezing bowls into a microwave or hot oven).

Do your mugs get hot with hot beverages?

Yes, like any ceramics, our mugs do get hot after they are microwaved or filled with hot beverages.

How long does it take for you to ship out the order?

All orders will be shipped within 5 business days through USPS. Priority Mail within the US, First Class Mail for international. You will receive a notification via email.

Do you ship internationally? How long does it take?

Yes, we do ship internationally. First Class International Shipping generally take between 7-21 days. However, USPS does not guarantee delivery dates or times. Custom could delay delivery time, up to 8 weeks.

Does item price includes custom fee for international shipping?

No, item price and shipping cost do not include import duties, taxes and customs fees. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Shipping cost is not refundable if buyers refused to pay for these charges or package is undeliverable.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost is calculated based on the weight of the package.

What if I put an incorrect shipping address?

If you have not received a shipping notification email, that means the package has not shipped out yet, please send us an email at hello@ardentfifth.com as soon as possible with your name, order number and the correct shipping address. If your package is shipped, we will not be responsible for orders that are shipped to an incorrect address.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

No. All sales are final. However, if you are unhappy with the products received, please contact us within 5 days of receipt and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What if my order arrive broken?

We properly package our products to avoid breakage. If an item should arrive broken by the shipping process, please contact us within 3 days of receipt with a photo to arrange for a replacement. 

I placed an order but I didn't receive an order confirmation email.

All order confirmation emails are sent out automatically. If you didn't receive a confirmation email, it means the email address was undeliverable, please send us an email at hello@ardentfifth.com with a different email address and provide your name, email, and shipping address to confirm your order.

DO YOU HAVE AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM? 

We love working with carefully selected bloggers and influencers through our Affiliate Program. We're happy to provide graphics and text for you to use + compensate you a percentage of the sales made through your unique link. DO YOU WORK WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS? 

We love working with interior designers! Please contact us with your business name and a link to your website (for verification) so we can set up a special code that you can use at checkout. We do we allow any artwork to be marked up without written consent. 

Do you do wholesale?

Do you reserve, hold items or accept preorders?

Due to the amount of requests, we no longer reserve, hold items or accept preorders. We want to be fair to everyone who is interested in purchasing on a first come first serve basis.

Do you welcome custom orders?

Yes! We welcome custom orders and can accommodate most custom requests. Please get in touch.

A collection is out of stock, when will you restock?

If the collection is on the website, even if it's sold out, we continue to make more items within that collection. The quickest way to receive news on restocked products and new collection releases, is to sign up for our newsletter or follow us on instagram.

I'm in the St. Augustine area, can I purchase directly from you instead of online?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer in person purchases at this time due to schedule constraints, unless at markets or popup events. However, we have plans for a retail space in the near future and will welcome you to our new space with open arms!

Is there a way to preview what a print or painting would look like in my space? 

Yes! Simply email a picture of your blank wall to hello@ardentfifth.com. Be sure to capture it with bright and even lighting. We will then place the artwork on your wall digitally and send it back via email for viewing.

What kind of prints do you offer?

Photo prints are printed on professional, acid-free, premium heavyweight photographic paper (290gsm) using archival pigment inks that will resist fading for 100+ years with proper care. The gallery-quality paper has a beautiful, luster finish, which has a subtle textured sheen (without being glossy) to help prevent collecting fingerprints and reflecting light. 

Photo prints up to 17" wide are hand cut and printed in-studio on our professional, large format printer. Photo prints larger than 17" wide are printed at a fine art print studio here in St. Augustine.

Our fine art painting reproductions are gallery quality giclée prints on professional matte archival or canvas. The canvas material is a beautiful upgrade from a paper print. It doesn't rip and has a textural quality that mirrors the exact canvas the artwork was painted on. Many times people can't tell the difference from an original. 

Do you donate any of your artwork?

We donate a set number of products to charitable causes each quarter. Please email your request to hello@ardentfifth.com

Do you recommend framing the artwork?

We highly encourage framing your prints and/or originals! Our framing process is convenient and less expensive than most custom framing shops. The perfect frame will not only protect your new piece, but it will enhance the artwork, giving it an even more beautiful presence in your space. Each custom frame is made by hand, here in the USA, using high-quality materials and great attention to detail. The artwork will be set with a UV-shielding, scratch and shatter resistant plexiglass. 

If you'd like to search for your own frame, finding the perfect frame for your artwork should be simple, as we typically use common frame sizes. West Elm, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, and most art stores have a nice variety to choose from. Don't forget the mat and be sure to use acid-free adhesive!
